What is ISO 22301?

ISO 22301 is the international standard for Business Continuity Management Systems (BCMS). It gives organizations a structured framework to prepare for, respond to and recover from disruptive incidents — from cyber-attacks and supply-chain failures to natural disasters — so critical products and services keep running.

Published as ISO 22301:2019, it uses the Annex SL high-level structure shared by all modern ISO management-system standards, making it straightforward to integrate with ISO 27001 and ISO 9001.
